Green Guesthouse - Kagoshima

The Green Guesthouse provided a clean and cozy atmosphere, just a short walk from the ferry terminals. The air conditioning in my room worked perfectly. I loved the well-equipped shared kitchen, easy to prepare meals. The roof terrace was lovely. The noise level was quite high. Thin walls meant sounds from the common areas filtered into the room. The dorm beds were quite firm, not ideal for side sleepers. Despite these issues, the community vibe and helpful staff were good.

The staff are experienced, managed the parking on site. They have a good restaurant, that was a definite bonus. A perfect and excellent location and I will be back.

Being just a short walk, around 15 minutes, from the ferry terminal made it super easy for my travel plans. I also found the shared kitchen very useful for preparing meals. The atmosphere was chill, and I felt very comfortable in the neat and cozy room, which was a nice feature for a solo traveler like myself.
