The Green Guesthouse provided a clean and cozy atmosphere, just a short walk from the ferry terminals. The air conditioning in my room worked perfectly, making the stay comfortable. I loved the well-equipped shared kitchen, which made it easy to prepare meals. The roof terrace offered a lovely place to relax with views of the nearby volcano. However, the noise level was quite high. thin walls meant sounds from the common areas filtered into the room, making it hard to sleep at times. Additionally, the dorm beds were quite firm, not ideal for side sleepers. There were four floors and no elevator, so navigating with luggage could be a challenge. Despite these issues, the community vibe and helpful staff made my stay worthwhile.

The shared kitchen could benefit from regular cleaning. consider bringing your own cleaning supplies for quick tidying before cooking.

During my stay, I really appreciated the rooftop area where I could unwind and enjoy a drink from the vending machine. Being just a short walk, around 15 minutes, from the ferry terminal made it super easy for my travel plans. I also found the shared kitchen very useful for preparing meals. The atmosphere was incredibly chill, and I felt very comfortable in the neat and cozy room, which was a nice feature for a solo traveler like myself.

The rooftop provided a peaceful spot for
enjoying my morning coffee while gazing at Sakurajima. The ambiance was very relaxed, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, the walls between rooms were slightly thin, so I could hear conversations from neighbors, which sometimes interrupted my sleep.

From skeptic to superfan
Very chill atmosphere! Friendly guests and helpful staff made my stay delightful while the cozy roof terrace became my favorite hangout spot.
The dorm beds were quite firm—definitely not for side sleepers. Also, trucks passing by gave the room an occasional shake.

Loved the rooftop for drinks and chill vibes! The bed and shower were totally fine for a night’s stay. Location was stellar, just a hop away from ferry terminals and tram stops.
The bunk beds wobbled like they were auditioning for a circus, and the humidity smells could rival a gym locker. Bring air freshener, darling!
